Library Catalog Search

Try Different Search Terms

When searching the Library's Catalog, try different search terms when looking for information.

Start with your topic. Type it into the search box to see what you get.  For example, [Saint Bernadette of Lourdes]

If you don't see what you need, try a different search term. Generally, it's a good idea to go broader. So the above search term might be changed to [Saint Bernadette]

Again, if this doesn't work, Google the topic, and see what you find.  For Saint Bernadette, we discover she is an incorruptible. Try that as a search term. [incorruptible]

Research is often a process of trial and error.  If at first your search does not succeed, try and try again.
