E-Books: Getting Started

What is an e-book? An electronic book, or e-book, is a traditional book that has been digitalized so that it can be accessed from a computer, e-reader, or other electronic device. 

The E-book Research Guide will help you locate e-books using the Library catalog and the web along with other great resources available through the University of South Carolina Aiken's Gregg-Graniteville Library.

To locate e-books in our Library catalog, conduct an "Advanced Search" and limit your search results to "Material Type: E-books." When performing a simple keyword search, look for the "electronic resource" note in the book entry. This signifies that the item you are viewing is an e-book.
