Account Setup Instructions

USCA Pacer (Email) Instructions

This will be your password for Pacer Student Email, Computer Login and WiFi. This account is in no way associated with your VIP ID / Blackboard / SSC account.

STEP 1: Create Your Account

  1. Go to https://portal.office.com
  2. Log in using the following credentials:
  • Email: username@usca.edu
  • Password: Last 5 digits of your VIP ID + USCA#

**For example if your last 5 digits of your VIP ID are 1234, your password would be 12345USCA#

STEP 2: Set Up Microsoft Authentication

  1. When prompted with “additional Information Required”, click Next.
  2. On your phone or tablet download Microsoft Authenticator.
  3. Scan the QR Code on the Screen and follow the prompts.

Step 3: Change Your Default Password

  1. Go to https://portal.office.com and log in.
  2. Click on “View Account” and then “Change Password”.

Password Requirements

  • Can not include any part of your username
  • Must include at least 8 characters and include Uppercase, Lowercase, Numbers, and Special Characters

Updating your Password before expiration:

  1. Go to https://portal.office.com and log in.
  2. Click on “View Account” and then “Change Password”.
