Study Rooms


Study rooms are available for short-term checkouts by USC Aiken students, faculty, and staff. Students are given priority for available study rooms. The Gregg-Graniteville Library has 13 smaller study rooms that can accommodate 2-3 people and 3 large study rooms that can accommodate 5-8 people. Book a Room

Study room keys are LIBRARY USE ONLY and cannot be taken out of the building. Keys taken from the building may result in fines and loss of checkout privileges. Damages, theft, or lack of cleanliness may also result in the loss of study room privileges.

  • At the end of your booking please turn out the study room lights, lock the door, pick up any garbage, and retrieve any belongings. The library is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
  • If the patron does not arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, the room will be made available for other patrons.

Small Study Rooms

All of the smaller study rooms have a desktop computer with a camera that can be used to take proctored exams through Respondus. Rooms 212 and 213 come equipped with a flat screen tv and Blu-ray player.

Group Study Rooms

Whiteboards are available in Group Study Rooms. Dry-erase markers and erasers are available at the Circulation Desk.

Study Room Policies

Study Rooms may be booked in advance at https://libcal.usca.edu/allspaces.

USC Aiken Students, Staff, and Faculty. A valid barcoded University ID must be presented at the time of checkout.
USC Aiken Students must be registered for the current semester to check out a study room.

Each of the small study rooms has a camera for proctored exams and access to the Respondus lockdown browser. Respondus is accessible through an icon on the desktop.

Study rooms are available to USC Aiken students, staff, and faculty only.

Please inquire at the Circulation desk. Extensions are granted under the purview of Circulation staff and depend on the volume of room bookings, and the reason for the extension.

The library does not provide long-term reservations or bookings. Study rooms can be booked daily for up to 4 hours.
