Renew & Return

Learn more about borrower responsibilities including how to renew and return items borrowed from the libraries’ collections

Items can be renewed in person at the circulation desk or online if the patron is a USC Aiken student, faculty or staff.

You can renew PASCAL Delivers books by logging into My Account. Once you've logged into My Account, select the institution you’ve borrowed the book from (the institution will be on the PASCAL Delivers sticker on the front of the book). Then, click the renew to the right of each of the items you wish to renew.

You can also renew PASCAL books at the circulation desk.

To renew a book:

  • Log in to ILLiad using your USC Aiken email and password.
  • On the Main Menu, scroll down to the View area. Click on the Checked Out Items button to display everything checked out to your username.
  • Select the item that you wish to renew by clicking on the transaction number button. You will then see detailed information about that request.

If renewals are allowed for an item, there will be a clickable link, Renew Request, at the top of the page.

If renewals are not allowed, please return the book to the Gregg-Graniteville Library as soon as possible to avoid receiving overdue fines.

If you have difficulty when attempting to renew books online, please contact the circulation desk.

Please return items on or before their due date (books have a “due date” card in the pocket in the back of the book).

If you have a question about the due date, you can go to My Account or contact the circulation desk.

Books may be returned in person at the circulation desk or in one of the library book drops. These are located outside the front of the library door and beside the Parking Lot B next to the library.

If you have questions about returns, you can contact circulation staff.

If you receive a “recall notice” for a book, please return the book to the library or contact the circulation desk.
