Library Book Retrieval and Curbside Pick-Up Services at the Gregg-Graniteville Library
The Gregg-Graniteville Library is now offering a library book retrieval service with an option for curbside pickup. Simply click the “Get It” link in the Gregg-Graniteville Library’s new Find It catalog to request the item, and either pick up the item from the Library’s Circulation Desk, or schedule a curbside pickup appointment.
Request books and materials through the library catalog and a library staff member will pull the materials for you and check the materials out to you. This new service reduces personal contact, while providing easy access to library materials. No need to hunt the stacks looking for a book. A staff member will email you when your book is pulled and ready for pick up.
Same day pick-up is available! Items requested by 8:00 am will be available at 10:00 am for pick up and items requested by 12:00 pm will be available at 3:00 pm for pickup. If requested items are not picked up within 10 days, they will be returned to the library collection.

Faculty & Staff - New Option for On-Campus Office Delivery
UofSC Aiken faculty and staff can have library materials mailed to their office through the campus mail. When making a request, please type in “office delivery” in the special instructions. Books will be delivered in 1-3 days through the campus mail system.
The library’s new convenient curbside delivery option will allow students, faculty and staff to receive materials at the loading dock in the library’s parking lot. Curbside pick-up runs Monday-Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
Same day pick up is available! Items requested by 8:00 am will be available after 10:00 am for pickup, and items requested by 12:00 pm will be available after 3:00 pm for pickup. If requested items are not picked up within 10 days, they will be returned to the library collection. Library staff will check materials out to your account.
Once you submit a request for library materials (see above), you will receive an email in your university inbox with a link that enables you to schedule your pick-up time. For your convenience, pick up times are scheduled in 30-minute increments. When you arrive at the library, please call the Circulation Desk at 803–641–3286 to let staff know you are there. A member of the library staff will meet you at the loading dock with your requested books and materials. Library staff can then place your requested books and materials in your trunk or hand them to you.
Low Contact Library Returns
To limit person-person contact please return library books either to the indoor Circulation Desk book drop or one of the two outdoor library book drop boxes. The outdoor library drop boxes are located outside the library and on the pathway from the library parking lot. The indoor library drop box is located on the left side of the Circulation Desk.
Thank you for your assistance with keeping our campus community safe and healthy.
