Share of Total

In table 4 you will need to calculate the share of the total. The share of total is calculated by adding all of the labor earnings for each of the industries together to get a total for all industries.

You will divide each industry by the sum of all the industries to get a percentage.

Example: Labor earnings for manufacturing / divided by the total of all labor earnings for all industries in the table.
