Shelf maintenance is essential for ensuring that materials are easily accessible, well-organized, and properly preserved, which ultimately enhances the experience for our patrons and supports the library's overall effectiveness. Regular shelf reading is necessary to verify that books are in their correct order and location, to maintain an organized collection, and to address any shelving errors.
