PASCAL Faculty Textbook Portal

Dear USCA Faculty and Staff,

Our library is now offering a new, easy-to-use PASCAL Faculty Textbook Portal, to assist you in finding and selecting open and affordable course materials that are no cost to students. You can easily find and access quality Open Educational Resources (OER) as well as DRM-free (unrestricted) e-books that you can request the library purchase to support your course.

The PASCAL Faculty Textbook Portal is provided by the Partnership Among South Carolina Academic Libraries (PASCAL)  as part of its statewide initiative to reduce the overall cost of higher education for students by promoting the use of quality low-cost and no-cost learning materials. 

The portal is built on EBSCO’s easy-to-use Faculty Select interface. Here is a link to a flyer with more information, and a link to a tutorial video that walks you through how to use the platform.
