About us

The Gregg-Graniteville Archives Photograph Collection contains selected photographs from the Gregg-Graniteville Archives. The Gregg-Granitville Archives contains the documents and memorabilia of the Graniteville Company, a major Southern textile manufacturing firm founded in 1845 by William Gregg. The digital collection was created by the Gregg-Graniteville Library and the librarians responsible for the collection include Jane Tuten, Paul Lewis, Thomas Hobbs and Deborah Tritt. In 2014, the digital collection saw a signifant expansion to include 120 curated items.

The Gregg-Graniteville Library would like to also thank the South Carolina Digital Library (SCDL) for providing access to SCDL and CONTENTdm.
