Faculty who would like to place materials on reserve at Gregg-Graniteville Library may do so by bringing items that have been reviewed for Fair Use to the Circulation/Reserves Desk. Library employees do not pull or request reserve items for faculty. Faculty must choose their desired items by using the Online Catalog.
Prior to adding an item to reserves, it must be reviewed for Fair Use to avoid copyright infringement. Read more about copyright at USCA.
A Faculty Reserves Form must be filled out for each item. Items can only remain on reserve for one semester (i.e., for each semester you'd like an item to be on reserve, you must fill out a new form). Please bring a copy of the completed and signed form with you when you visit the Circulation/Reserves Desk.
Items that may be placed on physical reserve are books, journals, CDs, DVDs, photocopies of a journal article, and photocopies of a book chapter.
Item loan periods are Library Use Only, 1 Day checkout, 2 Day checkout, 1 Week checkout, and 2 Week checkout.
